Intermountain Rural Electric Association is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill our Customer Service Representative I position in our Sedalia location.  With over 151,000 members, Intermountain Rural Electric Association is one of the largest member-owned electric utility cooperatives in the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of one year cashier experience is necessary. The employee must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient with basic math, Microsoft Office, and accounting concepts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with the utility industry, Cayenta Utility applications, and OnBase document imaging and scanning equipment are preferred.

BASIC DUTIES: Responsible to the Account Services Director for the duties related to receiving payments on accounts, preparing daily deposits, monitoring various portals and consoles, and handling customer inquiries. Processes walk-in payments from customers. Updates accounts through the cash drawer process. Prepares and researches payments received through the mail, such as multiple payment stubs with a single check, or check in lists. Balances batches for the remittance process operator. Cashier must balance cash drawer(s) on a daily basis.
