The seats for Districts 3, 5 and 7 on IREA’s Board of Directors are up for election this year. Ballots will be mailed by March 25 to customers in any of those three districts in which there is a contested election.

Mailed ballots will include detailed instructions, but please note the following:

• Ballots must be received by the independent election vendor, Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS), by 5 p.m. Friday, April 23. The U.S. Postal Service is experiencing significant delays, so we recommend returning your ballot to SBS as early as possible.

• Ballots must be sent directly to SBS. They cannot be mailed or delivered to any IREA office or deposited in our drop boxes.

• Requests for replacement ballots from SBS can be made via (866) 909-3549 between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Eligible voters can vote in-person at our annual meeting, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 24, at our Sedalia headquarters, 5496 N. U.S. Highway 85. Registration is from 9 to 10 a.m. Voting by proxy is not permitted.
