National Safety Month is in June and IREA is asking budding artists to help us promote it.
Last year we introduced an electrical safety poster contest open to students in grades one through five. We are bringing the contest back in 2019. Winning posters will each earn $100 for the artist, be displayed in the lobby of IREA’s Sedalia headquarters and used in our print, electronic and social media channels as part of National Safety Month.
Here are additional details:
• Contest is open only to students in grades one through five.
• One winner per grade.
• Each winner receives $100.
• Poster must be one side of a single sheet of paper no larger than 11” by 17”.
• Artwork must be hand-drawn, with no digital or copyrighted images.
