Energy Outreach’s Tess Richey, Senior Manager of Development, and Denise Stepto, Chief Communications Officer, accept a donation of $1,362 from IREA’s Becky Wilson, Community Affairs Director, and Josh Liss, Corporate Affairs Manager.

This year’s holiday lights recycling drive collected nearly 3,700 pounds of unwanted lights, almost 500 pounds more than last year.

This generated more than $680 and, with a dollar-for-dollar match from IREA, Energy Outreach Colorado received a check for $1,362. Energy Outreach was established in 1989 to help needy Coloradans pay energy bills. For more information on Energy Outreach, visit www.energyoutreach.org.

You can help Energy Outreach Colorado year-round by donating through IREA. To sign up for a monthly contribution, fill out an online form at www.energyoutreach.org/donate-energy and select IREA from the drop-down list. If you opt to give monthly, we will add a separate line item to your monthly IREA billing statement and will make a matching contribution, up to $75,000 a year, for each dollar you pledge. Monthly contributions will continue unless you notify us in writing you no longer wish to participate.

To make a one-time donation, contact Energy Outreach directly at (303) 825-8750. Please mention you are donating as an IREA customer so your contribution will be matched.
