Intermountain Rural Electric Association is currently seeking a team-oriented individual to fill our Journeyman Lineman position in our Sedalia location. With over 151,000 members, Intermountain Rural Electric Association is one of the largest member-owned electric utility cooperatives in the United States.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required plus at least four years of apprenticeship training as a Lineman I or apprentice in the construction and maintenance of electric transmission and distribution lines.Â If no apprenticeship was served, a minimum of four years experience related to line construction and maintenance will be required to fill this position.
A valid Colorado Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a DOT medical certificate are required and must be maintained.
This position is a member of the Local Union No. 11 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, AFL-CIO. It is considered a union position and will require membership upon acceptance.
