Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or similar professional degree is required. Working knowledge of risk management concepts and practices; and insurance practices and claims management is strongly desired, though ability to gain on the job knowledge may be considered. Experience in developing or performing risk assessments is also strongly desired. Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Professional Risk Manager (PRM), Project Management Institute – Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP), or other risk/compliance certifications are desirable.

Basic Duties
The Risk Manager will oversee the Association’s risk management and business continuity activities, to include business insurance policy and claims management and loss prevention program management. This position will research, plan, develop and administer programs and initiate policies to manage the Association’s insurable and non-insurable risks and its business continuity/emergency management plans. The Risk Manager will align risk assessments with IREA objectives to promote risk awareness and a culture of compliance.
