Hourly Rate: $52.72
Classification: Bargaining Unit
Reports to: Transmission Operations Director
Requirements: This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Four years experience in a substation environment and completion of a Substation Technical apprenticeship or vocational degree are required. Must be knowledgeable in substation operations as well as equipment maintenance and testing practices. Some electronics background is preferred with experience in SCADA systems, relays, and computerized test equipment. Must be familiar with computers including the programming of equipment using laptop computers. Must be able to read electrical prints including one-line, three-line, and wiring diagram drawings for troubleshooting purposes. Must have the desire and ability to pursue training and increase job knowledge.
A valid Colorado Driverâ€™s License is required. A Commercial Driverâ€™s License (CDL) and a current DOT medical certificate are preferred but not required.
